    What is pai gow poker?

    Bonus terms as follows -

'Please note that the Casino would not consider wagers done in Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, Sicbo, all Blackjack games, Casino War, Video Poker and all variations of these games.'

I am told that pai gow poker is a 'variation of these games' - a variation of video poker?

I could not believe it - deliberate baiting.

It's a table game or table poker, definately not covered by that list.

    I thought I hadn't gone mad.

Casinomeister should add Floridita Club Casino to his 'Mini Vegas not recommended list', as long as they keep trying these tricks.

actually even better than taking my word for it, see how it is described in the drop down menu in the games lobby.

I had a similar experience at this very casino group when they introduced casino war as a new game and claimed it was a poker game .

Looks like they are taking the p1ss again.

if they carry this to its logical conclusion, then ALL of the table games involving cards and poker style rankings are a "form of video poker". Given that all are played on the PC, they are ALL "video" games anyway, and ALL the slots are "video slots".

What Mini Vegas actually mean is that the offer is "slots and keno only", but for some reason they persist in using these vague exclusion lists, and dodgy interpretations whenever they find any "non-slot" game is not covered in the game descriptions.
Other casinos will simply state "slots & keno only" for such offers, no problem here, but then most players would indeed only play the slots, and this would leave Mini Vegas having to pull the old "illegitimate play" stunt they used last year to void winnings from players who played, and won, solely on the slot games. They NEVER came clean as to what these players have breached in the terms, but many were paid after Bryan and eCogra intervened.

Pai Gow Poker is *not* a video poker. I believe this discussion has taken place in the past.

Tell them, politely but firmly, that pai gow poker is NOT a video poker and if they don't believe it, to open the software for themselves and verify this fact.

The terms listed on their website state:
"Please note that you cannot wager the bonus by playing the following games: Roulette, Baccarat, Craps, Blackjack, Red Dog, Sic Bo, Video Poker, Table Poker, Casino War and all variations of these games. "

This T&C quote is more clear than the one in the original post, as it states all variations of Table Poker. Where did you see the terms listed in the original post?

Based on that screenshot, a player should assume Pai Gow is allowed. The quote is very similar to the bonus terms from early 2005. In mid 2005, "table poker" was added to the list of restricted games as well. I doubt this is an intentional deception. I suspect it is either due to a sloppy T&C writer for their newsletter, or support reps not being aware of different terms for the newsletter bonus.

As the name implies, this game is a variation of 'pai gow tiles' or rather dominoes. Pai gow dominoes is a very interseting game and I understand that vast fortunes were lost and won by many Chinese on this game alone. One celebrity who just passed away a couple of months ago lost his whole fortune including a studio because of indulgence in this game.
