Just for the HORSE practice im going to start keeping a record of my single table tournament rotational game.

Today 5th May 2008

1) Holdem
2) Omaha Hi/lo
3) Razz
4) Stud
5) Eights or Better (stud Hi/Low)
6) Horse


All single table tournaments with 8-9 players depending on the game. Today I will be playing on the $10+1 tables at FT. With only a $50 deposit, Im going to have to cash in at least one of the first...

I'm in the middle of Julian Jaynes "The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind."

It's roughly a theory on how ancient man (up to about 5000 years ago) had brains split more or less in two. Their consciousness (right side) was an audible "voice" in their heads - as opposed to ours, which is a silent dialogue. Thus they were commanded by the voice of the "gods". And this is why most ancient beliefs/religions include the gods speaking...
