Belated report for 20090220:

Not much new to report on the PAB front. Spent the week grinding away at the backlog (~40 issues).

In particular no news on the Rushmore front: investigation still ongoing AFAIK.

Ugh! What a week! See The Numbers for the facts but it boils down to this: 14 (!!!) new issues this week, about twice the normal rate of submission.

Combine that with the two major ongoing issues -- the Rushmore Group's fraud investigations and the Golden Lounge Warning I posted a while back -- and you've got yourself one busy MaxD!

Ok, their investigation is finally starting to produce some results and they're pretty damned interesting. ...

Well this week has been a busy one! Partially because of other things and partially because of being away for a good part of last week the PAB scene is a bit snowed under. Anyway, thus the belated report.

The big PAB news this week is probably the Casinomeister Warning I have posted against Golden Lounge Casino: here. This is very much an ongoing issue though: we've heard from some of their people and they sound like they're willing to listen to what we have to say. Here's hoping. ...

Just back from London -- great trip! -- so not a heck of a lot to say about the PAB scene just yet. I'll probably have more to say early in the week once I've caught up.

I'm sure greedygirl and Bryan will have some pics from the show for you but I have got to say to all of you: if you can get to this show, even for a day, you really should. It's a great chance to sit down with people, talk face to face about stuff that's on your mind, and make things happen.
