Ugh! What a week! See The Numbers for the facts but it boils down to this: 14 (!!!) new issues this week, about twice the normal rate of submission.

Combine that with the two major ongoing issues -- the Rushmore Group's fraud investigations and the Golden Lounge Warning I posted a while back -- and you've got yourself one busy MaxD!

Rushmore

Ok, their investigation is finally starting to produce some results and they're pretty damned interesting.

Obviously I can't go into details but suffice it to say that sometimes the fraudsters get caught on technicalities and sometimes they get caught up by their own stupidity. These guys are getting caught with their hands in the cookie jar and their pants down around their ankles! Yowza, what a shakedown!

That said there are a lot more issues that remain to be resolved so this one is still very much on the books.

Golden Lounge

As mentioned I had posted a Warning about GL a little while back. Since then their people have approached us and have expressed a real desire to clear things up, including a possible reevaluation of their troublesome Terms & Conditions.

As I've said elsewhere that work remains to be done but some of the outstanding PAB issues are getting resolved so good on them for that. If you've had a GL issue resolved recently and had posted about your problem on the boards please consider going back to update that with the latest info: we can't flag them resolved unless we hear from you that they have been.

Anyway, good on GL for stepping forward.
