Well, after today's hot turkey sandwiches, all the gravy is gone, so if you need a new idea for left over turkey, give this quickie a try. It is based on the 1994 Pillsbury Bake-off winner http://www.pillsbury.com/Recipes/Sho...aspx?rid=12362

Curried Turkey Pockets

Ingredients

One tube Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
4 oz cream cheese
1 tablespoon of mayonaise
1 clove garlic, finely minced or crushed
2 tbsp curry powder (or to taste)
2 cups cubed, cooked turkey
1 cup frozen peas
1 tbsp melted butter
Preheat oven to 350.

Beat cream cheese with mayo, garlic and curry powder. Fold in cooked turkey and peas.

On ungreased baking sheet, unroll crescent rolls, and press down middle seam to make four squares. Put 1/4 of filling on each square, fold up and pinch seams to make pockets. Brush with a little melted butter.

Bake on middle rack for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.

Makes four sandwiches.

Big plus: Crescent rolls are on sale everywhere at this time of year. These can also be done with puff pastry, rough puff pastry or in phyllo pastry.
