So I'm a member of Deviant Art, and I logged in a week or so ago and had a notification that they're running a contest with Fotolia. The contest is called, "One Cat, One Fruit, One Clock" and the rules are like this - they supply you with 3 photos of cats, 3 photos of fruit, and 3 photos of clocks. You're supposed to pick one of each and try to come up with a design or illustration or something that incorporates the three things.

These are thumbnails of the images you have to use.

You know me, I'm up for a challenge - and to make it more challenging I decided to see if I could do something with all the cats, all the fruit and all the clocks! Cause I'm crazy that way. So this was my first entry, I call it "Time Flies?"

Those are great! I have a hard enough time just typing, so I envy anyone who has such talent.

thanks guys....! I do Photoshop for fun so this was just playing around - it's nice that I had time. I doubt I'll win anything because there are some REALLY good entries. Lots of talented people on DA, I usually do better with design contests where I'm the only Photoshop geek. But maybe they'll give me a little extra credit for using everything, who knows?

Funny stuff. I especially like the ridiculous "for dummies" book the cat's holding. The more I think about it the funnier it gets, actually.
