As most of you are aware, I play a lot of tournaments. As those of you who play tournaments are aware, it's actually kind of boring. So while I'm clicking the button (or waiting for the infernal reels to stop spinning) I notice other player's screen names as I pass them or as they pass me and I wonder about the people and why they chose those names.

Some of them are cute (a kitty cat face) some are funny (thundershmuck or skintagain) and some are incomprehensible (vinylweatherman, what the h*ll is THAT supposed to mean?)

There are people whose screen names brag about their kids or grandkids, there are people whose screen names say what they do for a living or what their interests are. Nicknames, real names, where they're from or pleas for just one win.

The thing I don't get is the people who use screen names like they're on an adult dating site. I've noticed there are quite a few who have screen names using "sexy" or "hottie" or "porn" or "xxx" or ending with "4U" - or worse "4ALL" What's up with that? It's not like anyone else can click on their name and chat them up so what's the point? I keep waiting for the day when Royal Vegas announces that the winner of one of their big tournaments is someone named "sexybuttboy4men." Yikes.
