Make ice cream at home by my sweetheart Lucky7
A summer time favorite has always been ice cream, so I thought it would be great to share a recipe to make your own.
Kids love to help make icecream, it keeps them out of trouble as well as gives them a sweet treat.

You will need these items:

6 tablespoons rock salt
1/2 cup milk or half and half
1 gallon sized food storage bag
1 table spoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 pint sized food storage bag
and lastly ice cubes.

Now you will need to fill the large bag full of ice and then add in the rock salt. Seal the bag and check to make sure it has a good seal.

Now in the small storage bag add in the sugar, vanilla and milk and again seal the bag and check the seal. Place the small bag inside of the large bag and make sure it is sealed tightly.
Shake this mixure until you have icecream which is usally about 5 minutes.
Wipe off the small bag and begin to enjoy your home made icecream.


( 1/2 cup of milk will equal about 1 scoop of ice cream)
