Back to school treats for the kids

Well we all know it's almost that time again for all our kids to go back to school again.
Make some great treats for them.
My friend sent me some of the treats she makes for her kids.
AFTER SCHOOL PEANUT BUTTER KRISPIE
TREATS
1 stick butter
1 (16 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
3 heaping tbsp. peanut butter
8-9 c. Rice Krispies
Melt butter. Add marshmallows and peanut butter. Melt together, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies. Spread into buttered 9x13 pan.

AFTER SCHOOL TREATS
1/2 c. chopped nuts (peanuts, walnuts, almonds or cashews)
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. oatmeal
1 tbsp. salad oil
1 tbsp. whole wheat flour
2 tbsp. bran cereal
1/2 c. mild flavored honey
1/4 c. raisins, chopped dates or prunes
1 tsp. vanilla
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Form into 1 inch balls. Cover and chill. Makes 24 balls.

AFTER SCHOOL TREATS
1 c. soft shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
3 lg. eggs, beaten
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
1/2 c. Total cereal
1/2 c. Wheaties cereal
1/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. chopped almonds
1/4 c. chocolate chips
Cream together shortening, sugars (brown and white), beaten eggs and add flour, soda, oatmeal and cereal; mix well. Add the raisins, walnuts, almonds and chips. Roll in balls, flatten out. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes until lightly brown. Remember cookies cook for 5 to 10 minutes while out of the oven.
