New Years Day Stew

NEW YEARS DAY STEW

4 to 5 lb. chuck, cubed
1 can Campbell's Tomato soup
1 1/2 cup of water
1 pkg.beef bouillon
1 tsp. salt
2 onions, sliced
4 to 5 cloves garlic
5 potatoes, quartered
4 carrots, peeled and sliced
3 stalks celery cut up
1 green pepper
I cup of corn

Combine ingredients in a Crock-Pot. Cover and cook 5 hours on medium

    Some of these are tempting (want to try the cheesecake) but while I can convert pds and kilos- what is a stick of butter- we don't have sticks of butter here in Oz- is it an ounce (30gm)

    A stick of butter here is 8 Tablespoons (give or take a little). Solid measure, not liquid.

    In the US a stick of butter equals 1/4 pound (4 oz.)
    4 ounces = 113.398093 grams
