MG fixed it pretty damn quick once it was exposed. In fact, if it wasn't for greedy players opening a mess of multiple accounts and doing it again it may not have been spotted for a long time.

It was spotted statistically, as some casinos noticed such oddities in their monthly slot returns that they figured something was wrong. Along with this, there were large numbers of multiple accounts being opened, curiously, many, if not all, of which were winning

It took me some months of research to find out what exactly had happened, and then I realised that I too had been a "victim" in the late summer, but only in the ONE new account I had opened in the time frame.

Most MG "loopholes" end up being in the casino's favour, and many of these remain unfixed for months, if not YEARS. When loopholes end up being in the PLAYER'S favour, they are fixed very quickly indeed, and then swiftly covered up.

Recently, players were mentioning something about Mega Moolah, with the two minor jackpots growing to seriously high levels, and barely being hit.

It was so clearly a "bug", yet MG seemed to know nothing about it, and I have heard nothing since, no explanations at all. Recently, I played Mega Moolah, and it has been quietly fixed and the jackpots are at their usual levels. With no evidence of what happened, and no official announcement, MGS are going to let this quietly slip away unnoticed as one of their uncomfortable embarrassments. The bug itself was neutral, but players did not believe it had no detrimental effect on the RTP of the game, so maybe they initially intended the change, but backed out and don't want to admit they made a bad call.
