The best way to get involved in poker bankrolling is to join a poker site and demonstrate your ability at winning and generating rake.
I don't think many poker sites are going to bankroll a player they don't know, unless its a celebrity or very well known poker pro. If they do its probably a small amount, say $50-$100 with a large playthrough.
www.a-winning-hand.com unfortunately does not take USA players at the moment, but for all other players who can play, their poker play is analysed, and comps are given where we feel the player has been unlucky / had a bat beat.
