Hey Aloha,

If you think that someone's disconnecting you, then you really need to get a firewall. Also, you should check your computer for spyware and viruses. I like Spybot Search and Destroy for spyware, and Kaspersky or AVG for anti-virus, cuz they're free. (I have one at home and one at work and don't seem to notice any major differences, they both seem to catch everything).
In general, though, I think that most online poker sites are well enough monitored and well enough protected to keep people from knocking you offline. I've never been knocked off a poker site, except when my modem broke.
