Ok, things have changed a little here.
First of all, thank you to the Winward rep for coming back, looking into things and assigning a staff person to be available to us and our membership. Her handle here is RGiants-Mo and she introduces herself

That said, the terms that Winward is using were soon spelled out to us and the sticking point seems to be this:

So yes,
you'll be bound by their 30x playthrough requirement the instant you deposit, whether bonuses are involved or not.
Mo suggests that this might change at some point in the future but for now it is what it is. I'm trying to get an email address where Winward players can send their thoughts on this.
