Yes, I played alot up to around 1996 when it began to go downhill.
The worst loss was when they changed to all cash payouts and all the old "skill climb" features were replaced by pseudo-skill (as in rigged) features where you could not get the jackpot unless the machine was really ready for it.
I still played somewhat after that, but have not been on my rounds for a couple of years now.
The new gambling act has bade things worse, in that many of the motorway fruit machines are closed off because they now require an ejector of under 18's to be permanently stationed in the machine area, not just using CCTV from the shop or restaurant with half-hourly checks.
Naturally, if I got some decent "info", I would be off on a trip, knowing full well it probably would not last long.
It's a good job online casinos came along to fill the void

I have thought of going out again and seeing what has changed over the last two years, but it would mean getting cold and/or wet, so I will probably wait till spring or summer.
