It's not so much a question of them waiting as the time it takes to see if patterns are emerging or to analyse if patterns have already emerged from my understanding.
Example: if word gets out to a group of bonus abusers somewhere they may all attack in a certain way and a pattern may be apparent, though obviously it may happen over a day, a week or more.
So I'm guessing it gives Intertops more time to analyse and spot any patterns that arise from people winning off the bonus.
But I totally agree that you'd think they'd lose more potentially valuable players as a result. Would have thought there would be a better way. Shame for your everyday player that there isn't a central database of "player ratings" but I guess that would have as much if not more opposition, especially from bonus hunters.
