One question worth asking is what grounds did the casino offer for claiming the money back?
As far as Neteller is concerned, the only legitimate grounds they would have would be if a technical error caused the amount to be credited twice, or to the wrong account. In this case, it looks like you won the money, and it was correctly transferred from the casino to Neteller.
The next time Neteller tell a player they cannot recover funds due to error or fraud on the part of a casino, they should be given the details of this case to show they are lying (as here they have done just that).
If the FSA seem less than interested, a complaint to the Isle of Man regulators should follow. This may well get results, as such a case could damage the reputation of the island's financial sector, which is one of it's main selling points.
Publicity will alert players to the fact that withdrawn funds are NOT SAFE, even when you think they are happily parked in their eWallets.
The player community has seen a constant stream of duplicity from Neteller, and they are fast looking like the first non-casino to be invited to the rogue pit, with Click2Pay trying their best to emulate.
