I read recently that a vegas RNG cycles a minimum of 100 times per second through 4 billion numbers. That's 400 and some odd days before the cycle starts over. In that cycle there are clumps - some little, some big, and there is no way to predict them.

Varience is in the program, ergo high and low varience slot to slot - the happy little RNG churns away the same for a high risk game as a low risk game.
