Don't get too excited

Here is the corporate blurb on Netspend:
Quote:
NetSpend Corporation, headquartered in Austin, Texas, is the nation’s leading and fastest growing processor and marketer of prepaid, re-loadable debit cards.
and this
Quote:
NetSpend has helped establish the regulatory standards for the prepaid debit card industry by implementing best practice anti-money laundering/fraud controls and prides itself on having a rigorous risk and compliance management approach that is fully compliant with all Federal (Patriot Act, BSA) and State regulations.
A U.S. based company issuing pre-paid debit cards used to illegally fund online gambling? Yeah, that's going to last.

At this point, I wouldn't even bother getting a Netspend card just for gambling, especially given the hassles you are bound to encounter if you are actually fortunate enough to have a win and try to cash out. For us here in the U.S., wouldn't we all feel like schmoes if we started getting paper checks from casinos, then our banks refused to accept them.
