Problems
Unfortunately, US players affected by this are not legally allowed to fund their Neteller accounts as Neteller is solely a gambling payment processor. Neteller probably realises this, and seems to be having their own problems in paying players who have a positive balance in their accounts.
I fail to see why US players with a negative balance should bend over backwards to correct this when the attitude of Neteller to players they can't pay is "tough, beyond our control".
US players should realise that there is little Neteller can do if the banks block the linked account. I suggest players contact Neteller stating they are seeking legal advice over whether sending a money order would be permissible now that the arrest of the founders has made Neteller change it's own legal position on the matter.
I have today requested a large withdrawal from my own Neteller account. I know how long this SHOULD take, and I will see if there really IS a "workload" issue, or whether they are processing bank transfers in the usual 4 to 6 business days I have become used to.
(Unlikely they would mess with a UK account though, as they would feel the heat from the FSA - their licence here in the UK is something that they will find incredibly valuable to them in September)
