It could be useful for some of you (if you have italian pages on your websites), this italian directory list:

At the same time, perhaps, we have to choose directories about IP location too?
Many directories are built on the same network (I mean: "sister sites") from the same IP and / or C block and recive backlink fore more than one of this it colud be useless hard and expensive work.
More, if you are webmastering a web site to grow in the European traffic (for ex.), it could be better to choose europe IP based?
Especially, I think, if you put on your site a backlink to directories... PageRank / TrustRank considered in a "geographical" contest too (

I've seen many web sites (Europe IP based) searching for european traffic, get many user from US: they have, probably, too much backlink from web sites and directories US based.
